Logan Lamers - Cello, Bass Guitar

A cellist of 12 years, Lamers has studied and performed works from the genres of classical, jazz, rock, pop, folk, experimental contemporary, electronic, and world music. His education from Dr. Katherine Decker, Dr. Andrew Briggs, and Miyoko Grine-Fisher, in addition to master classes from Mike Block and Matt Turner, has given Lamers a nuanced and diverse understanding of the cello. These influences, along with his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Music Industry from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, have aided in Lamers’ signature approach to performing and teaching, which seeks to marry fundamental techniques, theory comprehension, individual expression, and an understanding of the connection between music and other disciplines.

Along with being the resident cellist of Resonancia String Quartet, Lamers is an instructor, recording engineer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
